Filming for the Scottish Borders Business Excellence Awards

We recently entered the Scottish Borders Business Excellence Awards.  Having filled in and sent away the entry form we were delighted when a few weeks later we were informed that we were finalists in our category, Rural Business of the Year.  The organisers had decided that they wanted to make short videos of all the finalists to show what the various companies do.

We always enjoy a bit of a break from the norm so it made for an enjoyable day, getting a lot of the guys together, tidying things up a bit and being filmed doing what we do.

I thought I would share a couple of pictures from the days filming while we wait to see the finished clip and hear the results of the awards...

These pictures are in a young wood which we were thinning without cutting extraction racks and while trying to keep the forest floor clear of large volumes of brash.  I will share more about this in a future post.
