Scottish forestry and woodland news

Treeline in the Press

10 June 2017  post by Nick Marshall

We recently had a visit from Rab and Wendy from Forest Machine Magazine who were writing an article on what we do as a company, how we do it and the machinery that we use.  We spent the day showing them round our firewood yard, looking at the processes we use to produce such high quality, consistent firewood, as well as taking them to a couple of our harvesting sites to look at how we are using a different approach and specialist machinery so as to boost the quality from our clients woods.  Unfortunately we didn't have time to show them any of the planting we have been doing this spring but overall Rab, who has been working in the industry for decades, was very impressed with what we were doing and has written a great article.

Read a copy of the article below or subscribe to this excellent magazine at: www.forestmachinemagazine.com/magazine for more great content.

You can also see a couple of videos of our machinery working on the video page of their website.
